November 09, (THEWILL) – Ckay has received a silver plaque in the United Kingdom for his hit single, ‘Love Nwantiti’.
Ckay was recognised by Parlophone Limited after the song made over 200,000 in sales in the UK.
The singer took to his Instagram page as he shared pictures of him receiving the award.
Alongside the photo, Ckay wrote: “My first plaque.”
‘Love Nwantiti’ was released in 2019, but it received global recognition in 2021 after a viral challenge on Tiktok.
Celebrities and fans of the singer have taken to their social media accounts to congratulate him on his latest achievement. Prominent among them are, Davido, Neyo, DJ Spinall, May D among others.
Davido wrote: “First of many”, Neyo on the other hand wrote: “Congrats kiddo! Keep going!!”
