January 27, (THEWILL) – Brighton and Hove Albion have refused to let go of their star midfielder Moises Caicedo, this month despite receiving a £60m bid from Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has become a key player in Brighton’s team and has been one of the breakout stars of the 2022/23 Premier League. His performances have caught the attention of some of England’s top clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Liverpool are all keeping tabs.
The Seagulls, who are currently sixth in the table under Roberto De Zerbi, have rejected the offer from Arsenal and remain adamant that Caicedo will not be leaving this month.
The club has no desire to entertain any further bids. The midfielder himself has stated that he is only focused on Brighton and that he handles the speculation well.
He said: “I am focused on Brighton. I am here, I’m playing every day. Things from outside don’t trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I’m focussed only on here.”
