January 17, (THEWILL) – Borussia Dortmund are allowing their young star, Jude Bellingham, to take his time when it comes to deciding his future.

According to sources monitored by THEWILL, Dortmund are happy for Bellingham to focus on his fitness ahead of the Bundesliga restart and have given him, his parents and his advisors the freedom to make the decision that is best for him.

If Bellingham decides he wants to leave this season, the club will listen to offers, but they have also given him the option to stay at the club with a new bumper contract and a release clause that would allow him to leave in 2024.

Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, has confirmed that the club would love to keep Bellingham, saying, “From a sporting point of view, I would be stupid to want to give up Jude Bellingham.”

Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all said to be leading the chase to land Bellingham, with each club reportedly making compelling cases to the young star to join them. However, Dortmund have made it clear that they will allow Bellingham to make his own decision, regardless of which club offers the most money.
