December 12, (THEWILL) – House of Reps Member for Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency of Plateau State, Hon. Beni Lar, has empowered her constituents with motorcycles, grinding machines, wrappers, and wheelchairs worth millions of naira, to alleviate poverty and aid the mobility of the physically challenged.

The exercise took place at the Langtang North mini stadium over the weekend, shortly after a thanksgiving service to mark her birthday at the COCIN LCC, Kuffen RCC headquarters, also in Langtang North.

She stressed that by the Grace of God, she will go back to the National Assembly again to continue to serve them.

“I will not be where I am today without the support of the great people of my constituency. They have been very supportive of my aspirations. That is why I am giving back in terms of empowering them with motorcycles, grinding machines and wheelchairs to alleviate their suffering”, she stated.

Speaking further, she advised her supporters to eschew politics of bitterness and rancour.

“As you can see today, people came from different political parties to celebrate me. Let’s celebrate one another and Nigeria’s diversity. Politics is a game. Whoever wins is a Nigerian and should be supported by those that lost. My brand of politics is politics without bitterness and rancour”, she added.
