January 12, (THEWILL) – The Senior Special Assistant to the Cross River State Governor on Communications and Advocacy, Beatrice Akpala, said her boss has significantly altered the lives of youths in the state.

Akpala disclosed this in an emotional appreciation message to the State Governor and the state executive committee of the APC at the state, local and national levels.

According to her, “His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade has created a paradigm shift and the many golden opportunities granted hitherto unknown political figures and ordinary citizens in Cross River State is second to none in the Country.

“Their lives have been significantly altered, the youths are better exposed and educated and the foundational framework laid for true industrialisation are granite achievements that are, before now, totally unknown to Cross Riverians,” she said.

She described the Governor as a father, mentor and life coach, saying the confidence deposed in youths like her will be continuously justified and the Governor has written his name in gold.

“As my father, mentor and life coach, you have demonstrated and taught me over the years that, indeed, hard work, perseverance and patience pave the way for all-round fulfilment as nothing good comes easy.

“I will, therefore, always go the extra mile to assiduously execute all assignments under my purview in order to continually justify the confidence reposed in me.

“The solid prosperity framework he has ably enacted in all sectors of our State economy and social life will not be forgotten in the annals of our history and in the fullness of time, his name will be written in gold,” she said.

She added that courtesy of the Governor’s magnanimity, as a youth, she has been privileged to be appointed Assistant Director, New Media of the APC Grassroots Independent Campaign Council as well as Chairman, Cross River State Publicity Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

Others are the Assistant Secretary, Media and Publicity Directorate of the APC Cross River State Campaign Council as well as the Chairman, Media and Publicity of Yala Local Government Area APC Campaign Council.

Akpala said she owes the Governor a million thanks and does not take these appointments for granted as though, they have been obviously challenging, fulfilling and exciting, the experiences gathered therefrom cannot be quantified in monetary terms.

She pledged to continue doing her utmost best to keep up with the last lap of every governmental commitment and the ongoing electioneering campaigns, to enable the administration to finish strong and at the zenith of public applause.
