BEVERLY HILLS, December 17, (THEWILL) – The three hundred and forty-four schoolboys abducted last Friday from their school have arrived the Katsina state Government House, following their release by their abductors.
Armed men at the weekend had attacked Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State, and abducted the boys.
The children were brought to the Government House by a combined team of security personnel where they will be received by the state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari.
The boys, many of whom still have their school uniforms on, were visibly limping apparently from injuries sustained during their time in the hands of the abductors.
The abducted students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, were released on Thursday.
Governor Aminu Masari, Thursday nigh, said the boys were at Tsafe, Zamfara State, and would be transported to Kankara on Friday.
According to him, the release of the schoolboys was facilitated by the leadership of MACABAN/Miyetti Allah.
