S’EAGLES: Lagerback Invites 44 Players To Pre-World Cup Camp

San Francisco April 18, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s Super Eagles Coach, Lars Lagerback has called up 44 players including 6 home-based players to the Eagles training camp in the United Kingdom between April 27^th and April 28^th ahead of the World Cup holding in the summer in South Africa.

Amongst the invitees are 5 goalkeepers, 12 defenders and 27 midfielders and forwards.

The home-based players are Bassey Akpan, Terna Suswan, Gabriel Reuben, Ahmed Musa, Solomon Okpako and Bartholomew Ibenegbu. 


Kanu Nwankwo and Joseph Yobo were listed as Captain and Vice Captain respectively.
