S’EAGLES: Lagerback Invites 44 Players To Pre-World Cup Camp

San Francisco April 18, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s Super Eagles Coach, Lars Lagerback has called up 44 players including 6 home-based players to the Eagles training camp in the United Kingdom between April 27th and April 28th ahead of the World Cup holding in the summer in South Africa.

Amongst the invitees are 5 goalkeepers, 12 defenders and 27 midfielders and forwards.

The home-based players are Bassey Akpan, Terna Suswan, Gabriel Reuben, Ahmed Musa, Solomon Okpako and Bartholomew Ibenegbu. 


Kanu Nwankwo and Joseph Yobo were listed as Captain and Vice Captain respectively.
