U17 WORLD CHAMPIONS, THE SWISS TEAM.
Abuja (THEWILL) - Nigeria's Golden Eaglets were defeated by the Swiss under 17 team by a lone goal in the final mach of the FIFA U17 World Cup.
The goal came in the 63rd minute from a corner kick.
The Eaglets, playing in the tournament as defending champions, were disappointing in the match played at the Abuja stadium.
With this win, the Swiss team set a record in FIFA books. They are the first team in history to win the championship in their maiden appearance.
