DIDIER DROGBA: ONE CHINESE CLUB IS PREPARED TO MAKE THE CHELSEA STRIKER THE WORLD'S BEST PAID PLAYER

**Three Chinese clubs keen to sign Chelsea striker

Drogba's contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season and talks regarding an extension have yet to reach an agreement.

The Ivory Coast star's preference is believed to be to stay at Chelsea, providing he is offered a contract which he feels he deserves.

The former Marseille forward wants a two-year extension in West London, while the Blues are reportedly only prepared to offer a 12-month deal.

If there is no agreement, then Drogba is set to be offered the opportunity to join his former Chelsea team-mate Nicolas Anelka in China.

Anelka has recently completed a move to Shanghai Shenhua, who have also confirmed an interest in signing Drogba.

Dalian Aerbin and Guangzhou Evergrande are also rumoured to be keen, with the latter willing to make Drogba the best paid footballer on the planet.

Guangzhou are reportedly ready to offer Drogba up to £400,000 per week in an attempt to persuade the 33-year-old to move to the Far East.

Drogba has been with Chelsea since 2004 and he scored his 150th goal for the club in the 3-1 home defeat by Aston Villa on New Year's Eve.
