Abuja Jan 12, (THEWILL) – Nigerians in their thousands took to the streets in Abuja on Tuesday calling for transfer of power from Nigerian President, Umaru Yar'Adua to Vice President, Goodluck Jonathan.
The protesters who marched along various streets in Abuja also called for speedy electoral and constitutional reforms.
The 'Save Nigeria Group' rally was led by Professor Wole Soyinka, Chief Olisa Agbakoba, Mr. Femi Falana, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Honourable Farouk Ahmed Aliyu and other civil rights activists.
