San Francisco (THEWILL) - Professor Charles Soludo early thursday morning, at about 4.30 am (Central African Standard Time), in a three part text message made available to THEWILL, announced the release of his father Pa Simeon by his abductors.

The message sent from his phone reads, “To God be the glory, my father has just been released by the kidnappers! We are emboldened by this experience to dedicate our life to the service of our fatherland and to find lasting solution to the kidnapping problem. Those who sought to break our will must be told that the wind of change in Anambra is unstoppable. Please join us in thanking God. Soludo

UBA CAMP SAYS ITS ABSOLUTE NONSENSE

The UBA Camp has responded to the text messages from Charles Soludo’s phone regarding his fathers’ release. A source in the Camp maintains that the whole episode was orchestrated by Soludo to win the Anambra sympathy.

“He has released his father because the police and villagers started searching all the houses in his village. He could not hide his father anymore.”

“First he said they called and demanded a ransom of N500 million, then it became N300 million. Soludo is playing games. We all knew he hid his father, everybody knew Soludo hid his father. You could tell from the attitude of the local media here in Nigeria. Nobody was really interested in the story anymore because they found out the truth. He should just tell us where he was hiding the man,” he concluded.

THEWILL understands that Professor Soludo may address a press conference later today.
