Another Gun Fight Erupts In Kano
KANO, January 29, (THEWILL) - Our correspondent in Kano reports that there is a gun battle currently raging between security forces and Boko Haram terrorists at Naibawa Police Station in Kano metropolis.
One source told THEWILL that the police station has been bombed, but we are however unable to independently confirm this.
However, a local resident Kabiru Maikatako told the AFP that "A large number of gunmen stormed the area at prayer time and opened fire on the police station.
“The police fired back and a shoot out has been going on for the past 30 minutes."
The dusk to dawn curfew imposed on the city after an attack by Islamic fundamentalists killed more than 180 persons is still being enforced
