Graphic: Another Protester Shot Dead At Onikan, Lagos
SAN FRANCISCO, January 11, (THEWILL) – One protester has been shot dead at the Onikan area of Lagos Island by policemen attached to the Onikan Police Station, according to an eyewitness, who said policemen shot sporadically into space to disperse protesters that had gathered around the police station.
The man that was killed took a bullet in the head.
Several others reportedly sustained wounds.
The same group of protesters, marching against the hike in the cost of petrol, reportedly picketed the Glover Road Ikoyi mansion of FCMB founder, Otunba Subomi Balogun earlier today.
