RIBADU’S RETURN: THE JITTERY ONES ARE MANY

Sir,

RIBADU’S RETURN: THE JITTERY ONES ARE MANY

The quantum of persons who are not sure of themselves and are afraid of the possible return of the former EFCC Chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, are increasing by the day. These persons include those sponsoring various media war against the return of this young man to his fatherland. If not for anything, Ribadu has the right to come back to his homeland where he was hunted because of what some people believed was his ‘selective’ approach in handling his job when he lasted at the anti-graft agency.

The persons fidgeting are the ex-this, ex-that; there are also some sitting governors who have soiled their hands and are receiving covering fire by the Police, the anti-graft agencies; there exists as well, those crooks who have been using courts for perpetual injunctions on crimes they committed and they include the disgraced bankers, whose actions have sent some hapless Nigerians to their early graves. The present hierarchy of the EFCC is not left out; they would not want Ribadu to come back into the country for fear of what might be their fates.

These bunches of crooks are shouting that Ribadu should be crucified before he comes back; but the masses are saying that the fearless Ribadu should be allowed to come back.
