MEN OF GOD: BEWARE OF EKITI PDP DESPERADO GOVERNMENT

Our attention has been drawn to the misconception from an unsigned Press statement purportedly issued by Ekiti RCCG Provincial Pastor Adejubee, on the alarm raised by our party AC against Ekiti PDP’s intention to hijack the church programme for selfish, venal and nefarious reasons.

We frown at the insinuation contained in the purported reaction to our earlier statement, which merely exposed Ekiti PDP regime as reducing a holy crusade to a PDP State affair, which would only offer their officials another opportunity to fleece the State.

We had also opined that such crusade is a joint exercise rather than a PDP family affair, as they had already constituted themselves into self serving committees.

We subscribe omnipotently to the sacerdotal and ecumenical leadership of our revered Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, as our party leaders, members and sympathizers form more than 80 percent of the RCCG congregation in Ekiti State.

We could not have either latently or surreptitiously cast aspersion on a man of God who is our Spiritual father and a church in which we are active members. We equally believe that Pastor Adejubee was not the patent owner of such insinuation, which we view as an expression from fifth columnists.

We are however glad that the crusade will be organized without the input of Ekiti PDP regime which could not be harbingers of blessings, as they revel in socio-political iniquities.

It was the desire of the PDP regime to hijack the programme and shut us out but this has failed with the church’s avowed rejection of their partisan assistance and our intended full participation.

It is on record that we have a blossoming relationship with the RCCG and to demonstrate this, Dr. Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organization’s Secretariat serves as a Parish of the RCCG.

It is the PDP that abhors God with their Marabouts and Babalawo infested government House.

We therefore welcome our most respected father in the Lord, Pastor Adeboye to Ekiti State. We are convinced that his coming to Ekiti would pull down the walls of Jericho and path-find our route to the Promised Land.

The AC as a party will participate largely in the programme. We therefore call on our teeming supporters and members to troop out in large numbers to welcome the unique man of God and find their ways to the crusade and advocate for a quick recovery of Ekiti from its current political jaundice and socio-economic debility.

Yemi Adaramodu, Director of Communications, Kayode Fayemi Campaign Organization.
