BEVERLY HILLS, May 24, (THEWILL) – In a joint statement with the show, Tamar Braxton revealed that she won’t be returning to Fox’s daytime talk show, ‘The Real’.
According to the statement, the 39-year-old singer will be leaving to focus on her solo career.
The statement read: “THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar’s efforts and the contributions she has made to the show’s success, and we wish her all the best for the future.”
And even though the statement made it look like the decision was a mutual agreement, sources reveal that Tamar was actually fired from the show – a claim made more valid by Tamar’s Instagram post saying she had been betrayed by someone she trusted.

She has since unfollowed every one of the show’s other hosts with the exception of Tamera Mowry-Housley.
