BEVERLY HILLS, May 02, (THEWILL) – On Saturday, President Barack Obama made his eighth and final appearance as POTUS at the White House Correspondents’ Association Annual Dinner which had Washington’ bigwigs, Hollywood A-Listers among others, present.

To say Obama’s speech was epic would be an understatement!

According to CNN, Obama took a jab at the Republicans and GOP Donald Trump, saying “I am a little hurt he’s not here tonight,” Obama said. “We had so much fun the last time. And it is surprising — you have a room full of reporters, celebrities, cameras. And he says no. Is this dinner too tacky for The Donald? What could he be possibly doing instead? Eating a Trump Steak? Tweeting out insults to Angela Merkel? What’s he doing?”

He took on his own fellow Democrat, Bernie Sanders, who was in attendance: “You look like a million bucks. Or to put it in terms you’ll understand, you look like 37,000 donations of $27 each.”

He also weighed in on the speculation surrounding the 2016 race, joking, “Next year at this time, someone else will be standing here in this very spot. And it’s anyone’s guess who she will be.”

Once again proving why he remains the coolest POTUS so far, Obama ended his speech telling the audience, “And with that, I just have two more words to say – Obama out.” He brought two fingers to his lips, using his other hand to lift a microphone up in front of him and dropped it in a dramatic fashion, referencing when performers intentionally “drop the mic” to emphasize a great performance.
