BEVERLY HILLS, July 16, (THEWILL) – About 10 worshippers reportedly lost their lives on Monday when a female suicide bomber detonated an explosive device during an early morning prayer at the University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID, Mosque.
The attack is the latest in the series of suicide missions recorded at the university since some commanders of Boko Haram were said to have been exchanged for some of the kidnapped Chibok girls.
Monday’s bombing is coming a day after the Borno State Police Command said two boys, aged 8 and 10, came in contact with Boko Haram terrorists who strapped one of them with IED.
The improvised explosive device, IED, later exploded killing Gambo Bukar, while his friend, Umar Bukar sustained injuries and is receiving treatment at the hospital.
