Petroleum Ministry Says Fire Outbreak In Kachikwu’s Home Didn’t Cause Substantial Damage

SAN FRANCISCO, October 17, (THEWILL) – The Asokoro residence of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, witnessed a minor fire outbreak on Monday.

Confirming the incident, the Director of Press Relations in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Idang Alibi, said there was no substantial damage.

“No life was lost, no one was injured and there was no substantial damage. Thank you,” Alibi said.

“The incident was caused by a power surge. It’s not a major fire outbreak like people are saying.
