BEVERLY HILLS, May 27, (THEWILL) – Former Special Assistant to then president Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Pastor Reno Omokri has upheld Acting President Yemi Osinbajo as a much better leader than “substantive President Muhammadu Buhari”.
In a statement issued on Saturday, he said Nigerians are currently experiencing a much needed relief under the leadership of Osinbajo, adding that “the value of the Naira picks up when Buhari is out of the country and tanks when he returns to Nigeria”.
Omokri continued, “the Nigerian Stock Exchange contracts when President Buhari surfaces and expands when he goes on his many foreign trips, especially to his London doctors.”
“These are historical facts that show that the acting President is a better manager of men and resources than his dour boss.”
In the statement issued on the sidelines of the ongoing Conservative International summit in Miami Florida, he urged the world’s conservatives to rally round Osinbajo who he said was recently undermined by being named ‘co-ordinator’ rather than acting President in Buhari’s letter to the National Assembly.
The conference was declared open by Florida Governor, Scott Rock who took some time out to have a personal conversation with the former presidential New Media aide.
