Fellow Nigerians, as we go out on Saturday the 28th of March 2015 in the presidential poll, we shall remember we all need a Nigeria where we are all stake holders and part takers.

We need an equal opportunity Nigeria where a Gbagyi man from Niger State can aspire to be the president of Nigeria.

We need an equal opportunity Nigeria where a Bura/Babur man from Biu Borno State can aspire to be the president of Nigeria.

We need an egalitarian Nigeria where a Kamwe man from Michika Adamawa State can aspire to be the President of Nigeria.

We need an equal opportunity Nigeria where a Zuru boy from Zuru Kebbi State can aspire to be the President of Nigeria.

In fact a Tangale man from Kaltungo Gombe will fulfill his dreams of becoming the president of Nigeria.

Off course we desire an egalitarian Nigeria where an Igala man from Dekina can fulfill his dreams of piloting the affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Ditto the others tribes and languages numbering over 500 spread nationwide in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Any Nigeria that desire an egalitarian, just and equitable society has an opportunity to show that on Saturday the 28th of March 2015.

Your vote for Dr Goodluck Jonathan on the 28th of March 2015 will guarantee that Nigeria has been unchained at last.

At last Nigeria has come of age. That leading Nigeria does not depend on your tribe, region or religion any longer.

Just like in the United States of America, it is the content of your character that will give you leadership position and not the religion of your forefathers.

Re-election of Dr Goodluck Jonathan on the 28th of March will break barriers and guarantee freedom for Nigeria.

Every Nigerian big or small, Yoruba or Nupe, Igbo or Kanuri, Hausa or Ijaw, Berom or Edo, Esan or Idoma. Margi or Igbira will have a sense of belongings.

These most quoted infamous statements as shown below will lose their relevance in Nigerian lexicon.

“This New Nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the South, as conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future.” —Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto in THE PARROT of October 12, 1960

“The conquest to the sea is now in sight. When our god-sent Ahmadu Bello said some years ago that our conquest will reach the sea shores of Nigeria, some idiots in the South were doubting its possibilities. Today have we not reached the sea? Lagos is reached. It remains Port-Harcourt. It must be conquered and taken.” — Mallam Bala Garba in WEST AFRICAN PILOT, December 30, 1964.

This nation called Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians and is not the estate of one tribe or religion.

Nigerians will say we are free at last!

On this note I say God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Long Live Nigerian Democracy.
