… President Finally Accredited Through Incidental Form

President Goodluck Jonathan; his wife, Dame Patience Jonathan and the President’s mother were kept waiting for more than 30 minutes at their polling unit in Out-oke, Bayelsa State, Saturday morning, as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) battled in vain to accredit the first family.

Four different card readers failed to recognise the President’s Permanent Card Readers and the highly-embarrassed INEC officials were left with no other choice than to accredit President Jonathan with the incidental form provided for such eventuality.

The President, who remained calm, though sweating because of the heat, during the process, implored Nigerians to be patient with INEC, saying such experience was not unexpected with such experiment.
