LAUTECH, jointly owned by Osun and Oyo states, has been closed down multiple times in the past few years over the non-payment of staff’s salaries and allowances.

Alhaji Muraina Alesinloye, Chairman, Joint Action Committee in the university, which comprises of Senior Staff Association of University; Non-Academic Staff Union and National Association of Academic Technologists, revealed that workers had been paid three months out of 12 months they were being owed by the university.
