SAN FRANCISCO, December 06, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Kano for a 2-day visit which paralyzed business activities in the state as shops and others places of busineses were locked while a mammoth crowd thronged to the airport.
He was received on arrival by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and top government functionaries.
Buhari’s arrival was also publicised by his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad via his Twitter handle @BashirAhmaad
“The Eagle One just landed at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport. A historic visit,” Ahmad wrote.
The President is expected to commission some multi-billion naira projects including two general hospitals, underpass and a 21.1 kilometer dual road.
He will equally lay the foundation of the famous Kano Economic City and inspect 2,000 affordable housing units constructed by Ganduje-led administration.
