IGP Arase Deploys New CPs For Lagos, Rivers, Ogun

BEVERLY HILLS, July 02, (THEWILL) – The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase, has deployed new Police Commissioners (CP) to take charge of Lagos, Rivers and Ogun States “to inject fresh ideas in the security architecture” of the states and “some other Force Headquarters Formations,” a police force headquarters statement announced Thursday.

The statement from Force Headquarters further said, “It is expected that the new postings will reverse the crime wave in the affected states, while also strengthening administration in the affected strategic Force Headquarters Formations.”

This is Mr. Arase’s first major shake up since his appointment as IGP in April this year.
