BEVERLY HILLS, JULY 27, (THEWILL) – American artiste, Justin Timberlake, 35, was slapped by a spectator at a golf tournament as he greeted attendees at the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
THEWILL gathered that the incident occurred last Saturday.
The video of the incident was obtained and published by gossip website, TMZ. It showed Timberlake walking and greeting the crowd when the spectator slapped him in the back of the neck. An indignant Timberlake snapped, “Bro, why would you do that?”
The website further reports that the tournament officials “saw it as a minor incident,” but that it escalated when sheriff’s deputies attempted to escort the aggressor, who was allegedly intoxicated, off the premises at which point he allegedly refused to leave and grew aggressive. He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
According to a report by Pagesix, Timberlake has declined to press charges.
