BEVERLY HILL, October 07, (THEWILL) – Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, alias Winners Chapel, Dr. David Oyedepo, has recounted how he and others travelling with him escaped what he described as a “potential plane crash”.
He shared the testimony on Friday at the ‘Breakthrough Service’ held at the church’s world headquarters in Ota, Ogun State and broadcast to all the zonal centres of the church in Ota and Lagos.
The Bishop told the congregation that the aircraft plunged into crisis mid-air, but “God took control and landed the plane”.
He then told the congregation how God miraculously delivered him and the others when the plane ran into turbulence.
“There was a mid-air crisis, there was serious turbulence, but there was no apprehension. Jesus took control. He landed the plane safely. And we were just celebrating the faithfulness of God,” he said.
Although Oyedepo did not disclose where he was going or coming from when the incident happened, it is believed that he might have been returning from London.
The Deputy President of the church, Bishop David Abioye, and other top pastors joined the presiding bishop on the altar to dance in a wild praise and singing session.
