SAN FRANCISCO, September 25, (THEWILL) – Four gunmen on Monday opened fire at the palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, during the installation of Mogajis and Baales.
The Punch reports that the shootings which happened around 11:45am, however, did not succeed in stopping the coronation at the time taking place inside the palace.
The gunmen stopped in front of the palace, shooting and daring people inside the palace to come out and confront them.
After firing bullets for a little over 10 minutes, the armed thugs, who came in a black Toyota Sienna, sped off towards the Molete end of Popoyemoja.
