BEVERLY HILLS, December 22, (THEWILL) – Many persons have been feared killed in a Monday morning bomb attack at the Dukku Motor Park in Gombe, North Eastern Nigeria.

The attack occurred during rush hour, according to correspondents in Gombe.

The terrorist group, Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks in northern Nigeria.

Emergency personnel said the blast killed 15 people and wounded 21 others, who have been transported to a local hospital.

It was the second such attack on the city’s public transport system in three months. At the end of October, a car bomb at a bus stop killed at least 10 people.

No one has immediately claimed responsibility for today’s attack which as at press time was not clear whether it was a suicide attack by a lone bomber.
