BEVERLY HILLS, April 23, (THEWILL) – Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt has granted an order restraining the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed from further publishing the name of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, in his looters’ list.

THEWILL recalls that the PDP had challenged the government to publish list of looters which was obliged by the government.

Irked that his name was on the list, Secondus approached the court to restrain the government from further embarassing him.

Channels reports that the defendants or their representatives were absent in court as the case was called on Monday.

However, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Iyayi Laminikara, who presided over the matter of libel, asked the plaintiff to serve the defendant with the appropriate notice and adjourned the matter to May 28, 2018, to proceed into the substance of the case.
