BEVERLY HILLS, June 24, (THEWILL) – Bolaji Abdullahi has been reelected as National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was reported on Sunday as the National Convention of the APC continued for the second day at the Eagle Square in Abuja for over 24 hours now.
A total of 6,800 delegates were to elect candidates for 60 positions.
Some positions were unopposed before the convention while some aspirants announced their withdrawal from the race on Saturday when the exercise started .
Here are some of the positions filled so far.
Adams Oshiomhole – National Chairman
Niyi Adebayo – Deputy National Chairman
Mai Mala Buni – National Secretary
Ibrahim Masari – National Welfare Secretary
Jack Alumba – Deputy National Welfare Secretary
Tunde Bello – National Financial Secretary
Babatunde Ogala – National Legal Adviser
Bankole Olajuwon – National Vice Chairman (South West)
Zakari Mohammed – Zonal Secretary (North Central)
Abubakar Sadiq – Zonal Secretary (North East)
Hassana Abdullahi – Zonal Woman Leader (North Central)
Nelson Abba – Ex-officio (North Central)
Isa Azare – Ex-officio (North-East)
Tukur Gusau – Zonal Secretary (North-West)
Nasiru Haladu – Ex-officio (North-West)
Rachael Akpabio – Zonal Women Leader (South-South)
Misbahu L Didi – Representative of the physically challenged.
Collation is still ongoing as some offices such as Deputy National Chairman (north), National Organising Secretary and National Women Leader, were among those contested.
