SAN FRANCISCO, August 31, (THEWILL) – The convoy of Senator Godswill Akpabio, the former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and minority leader of the Senate was involved in a multiple car crash in Abuja Monday morning leaving the politician as well as others hospitalised.
Akpabio is presently being treated at the National Trauma Centre of the National Hospital.
www.thewillnigeria.com gathered that Akpabio emerged from the crash, which occurred at the Bollingo Hotel Junction, without any visible injuries.
Sources close to the former governor however said he is stable and okay. The three persons in his convoy are also alive and well, the sources said.
“He is okay and in stable condition…. He was just in shock after the crash,” one source said.
