Umu Anioma Launch New Logo
ASABA, June 20, 2010 – Umu Anioma Foundation announces the launch of a new ANIOMA logo. This new logo launch coincides with the launching by the Anioma New Leadership Council of the Movement for the Creation of Anioma State.
As it moves forward with its mission to ensure that real development reaches the Anioma people, Umu Anioma Foundation has developed a new logo. The tagline, "Ofu Obi Bu Ike Anyi" speaks to the unity that all Anioma will need in speaking with one voice as they seek to make Anioma the 37th State in Nigeria. The logo represents the past, the present and future of Anioma. The number 37 reminds us of a future that will see Anioma named as the 37th state in Nigeria. The map of Nigeria with the earth yellow color depicting the clay soil of Anioma land is a testimony of a past that is bound together by that one singular aspect that all Aniomas can identify with, our Clay Soil. "On behalf of the Umu Anioma Foundation Board of Directors, let me share with you the vision for the future which is represented in our new ANIOMA logo. This vision for common good and unity of purpose is represented in this distinct logo design that captures our bold and unified Anioma voice" notes the convener of the Umu Anioma Group, Prince Emmanuel O. Ohai. "Ladies and gentlemen, the number 37 has forever being retired in the history of Nigeria. Going forward anytime the number 37 is displayed it will mean only one thing to Umu Anioma and indeed to Nigerians in general; i.e. our unified single voice that is calling for statehood for our dear Anioma land."
