WARRI, DELTA May 13, (THEWILL) - As Nigerians and world leaders continue to mourn the sudden death of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, a non governmental organization known as the Unveilers of Good Leaders Foundation (UGLF) has described the death of Yar’Adua as most unfortunate adding that despite his short tenure, he was able to leave behind an indelible legacy.

The group in statement signed by its National President, Evangelist David Ohwobeya, and made available to newsmen in Warri, noted that late president Yar’Adua would be remembered for the prevailing peace he restored in the Niger Delta region.

Ohwobeya, also described the ongoing amnesty initiated by late Yar’Adua as one of his major legacies. The establishment of the Ministry of Niger Delta Development and appointment of Niger Deltans to head the ministry was one of his laudable initiatives and achievements, maintaining that all this would be remembered by Niger Deltans.

While condoling the Yar’Adua family over his death, the group charged President Goodluck Jonathan to consolidate on the rule of law of late Yar’Adua, and as well ensure the sustenance and actualization of the ongoing amnesty which was proudly initiated by late Yar’Adua.
