Delta 2011: CDC Chairmen Endorse Uduaghan For Second Term

WARRI, DELTA April 17, (THEWILL) - The twelve Chairmen of the Community Development Committees in Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North local governments respectively, have unanimously endorsed incumbent Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for a second term in office.

Endorsing Uduaghan during its monthly meeting held at Okere CDC (Ugbuwangue Town), which was well attended, the chairmen considered various visible track records and achievements by Uduaghan administration, especially the riverine areas of the State.

The Chairmen at the meeting commended the governor for restoring peace and ensuring security in the state, especially the fast tracking infrastructural facilities and human capital development in the state.

In a communiqué at the end of the meeting, they appealed to Governor Uduaghan to facilitate the prompt release of their capital votes and requested for an upward review of their salary structure.

They also aksed the Delta State Government for operational vehicles to enable them perform their statutory functions in accordance with the 3-Point agenda of the present administration, as well deliver more dividends of democracy to the grassroots communities in Warri Federal constituency.
