WARRI, DELTA March 25, (THEWILL) - A possible communal crisis is looming in Ogoni community in Rivers State over a misunderstanding between the youths of different families claiming ownership of a particular parcel of land.

THEWILL learnt that the families of Chief Abraham Kpanawa and Chief N. Ganwa of Eemuu quarters on Ban-Ogoi Community in Ogoni were taking laws into their hands by encroaching into lands that are not theirs.

It was alleged that the youths who are tenants to both Chiefs and families settled in Ban –Ogoni community were disloyal to their original landlord by locating a permanent project in the community without the consent of their landlord.

This development has caused an avoidable misunderstanding between families, but competent source said both Chiefs and families have always lived in peace.

Ogoni community in Rivers State is host to several lucrative oil farms.
