Lars Lagerback Is Eagles New Coach

San Francisco Feb 27, (THEWILL)- The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF has named Sweden born Lars Lagerback as new Super Eagles coach. He will lead the Super Eagles to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Lagerback was coach of the Swedish national team from 1998 until 2009. He resigned as coach in 2009 after the Swedes failed to qualify for South Africa 2010. The Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF is expected to pay Lagerback’s salary.
