Former EFCC Top Prosecutor Assassinated

Abuja Feb 21, (THEWILL) - A former senior investigator with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) under the Chairmanship of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has been assassinated inside his Abuja residence.
Mr. Danjuma Mohammed was killed on Sunday by gunmen suspected to be assassins.
Danjuma, a Deputy Superintendent of Police was one of the officers that the central government redeployed to the police force with Nuhu Ribadu.
He was working for the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) until his assassination.
Police say they are still investigating his murder.
