Nigeria’s President Yar’Adua Admitted In a Jeddah Hospital
Abuja (THEWILL) - The foreign press is reporting that president Yar’dua has been admitted in a Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Hospital.
We had earlier reported that President Yar’Adua left Abuja on Monday evening after his medical conditioned deteriorated over-night.
A Saudi physician who would not want his identity disclosed, confirmed the president is undergoing series of medical tests at an undisclosed hospital. He would not comment any further, saying he is not authorized to speak for the hospital on the matter.
The president’s media adviser, Segun Adeniyi had said in a carefully worded statement released on Monday that Yar’Adua would be in Saudi Arabia on a visit and would call on his personal physicians in Jeddah for “follow up medical checks.”
He did not say when the president would return to the country.
