Bode George: Appeal Court Adjourns
Lagos (THEWILL) - A Lagos Appeal Court thursday morning heard proceedings in the bail application of convicted Chief Bode George.
The three-man panel of Justices led by Justice Monica Dongban Mensena however adjourned proceedings to December 1, 2009, to allow the EFCC enough time to prepare its bail objections in a new consolidated bail application filed by laywers for Chief Bode George and the other persons who were convicted with him.
The two other Justices on the panel were Justice Paul Adamu Galinje and Justice Hussein Muktar.
Surprisingly, Justice Bode Rhodes- Vivour, who the EFCC had accused of interfering in the trial, was not on the bench at todays proceedings.
