San Francisco (THEWILL) - Reports reaching THEWILL Newspaper say, Mrs. Maryam Babangida's over 10 year-old cancer has gotten extremely bad.

The former first lady has over the years managed to contain the disease. Contrary to reports that she is in a Los Angeles hospital, our investigations show she has not been admitted at the UCLA's Ronald Reagan Hospital, Beverly Hills Cedars- Sinai, or St John's Health Center in San Monica, Los Angeles' three most equipped hospitals.

However, we can confirm that General Ibrahim Babangida and their four kids are in the Los Angeles area with her, they arrived about two weeks ago from switzerland. Our contact says, "Mrs. Babangida has no plans of returning to Nigeria in the coming months because the country lacks good and professional health care."

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Babangida's as we wish the former first lady soonest recovery.
