Bode George's Bail Request Fails

BODE GEORGE (MIDDLE) ON HIS WAY TO COURT.
Lagos (THEWILL) - Chief Bode George's bail request was earlier today turned down by Justice Olubunmi Oyewole, the judge that convicted him two weeks ago.
The convicted former chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority was found guilty of misappropriating over N80 billion naira belonging to the NPA during his tenure as boss.
He is currently serving his sentence at the Kirikiri prison in Apapa, Lagos.
