Akingbola: EFCC Seize More Properties

San Francisco Jan 11, (THEWILL) – The woes of former managing director of Intercontinental Bank Plc, Mr. Erasrus Akingbola continued today as officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seized more properties allegedly belonging to him.

The properties seized we gather were recently traced to him.

They are:

1. Property at No. 210 Isale-Eko Street, Dolphin Estate, Lagos.

2. Property at No. 177A Sinari Daranijo Street Victoria Island, Lagos.

3. Property at No. 177B Sinari Daranijo Street Victoria Island, Lagos.

4. Property at No. 177C Sinari Daranijo Street Victoria Island, Lagos.

5. Property at No. 177D Sinari Daranijo Street Victoria Island, Lagos.

6. Property at No. 23 Fatai Fayemi Street, Council Area, Idimu, Lagos.

Last week, the commission seized some properties belonging to him in Ikoyi and Victoria Island including Inspiration Fm radio.

EFCC's Femi Babafemi confirmed the seizures in a conference call with THEWILL on Monday morning.

Erastus Akingbola has been charged for financial crimes including money laundering and abuse of office. He bailed after his sack by the Lamido Sanusi led Central Bank of Nigeria.
