SHELL NIGERIA: Omiyi Gets Replacement
Lagos (THEWILL) – The Royal Dutch Shell Company has announced the appointment of Mutiu Sunmonu, as replacement for chairman, Mr. Basil Omiyi, who is retiring at the end of the year after 39 years of service with the oil giant.
Sunmonu, until his appointment was managing director of Shell Petroleum development Company (SPDC) and was also Shell’s vice president for sub-Saharan Africa.
Mr. Sunmonu brings with him many years of international oil industry experience,” said Ann Pickard, Shell’s executive vice president for Africa.
Shell is one of Nigeria’s biggest foreign oil partners.
