Dangote Sugar Refinery Posts Smaller Profit

Lagos (THEWILL) - Dangote Sugar Refinery  wednesday, reported a pre-tax profit of N15.86 billion naira ($107 million) for the nine months ending in September 2009. The company said its profit was off 36% compared to its report last year.

In the filing at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Dan. Sugar also reported gross earnings of N59.44 billion naira as against N64.35 billion when it filed last year.

Dangote Sugar Refinery commenced business in Apapa, Lagos in March 2000.
